Athens Sunrise Rotary is hosting the sporting event of all sporting events! That's right! Join Athens Sunrise Rotary for a KICKBALL TOURNAMENT benefitting the Alexander Inclusive Playground Project. This event is open to businesses, organizations, and individuals who want to try their hand (eh-foot) on the diamond. Step back into your childhood and sign up today!
Date: June 8
Time: Check in begins at 8am. Games will begin at 9am. Matches and start times will be assigned once all teams are registered.
Location: Alexander Local Schools, Albany, Ohio (grass fields behind the school)
Cost: $300 per team (12 player maximum). Registration includes tee shirts for rostered players. Shirts will include complimentary screen printing of Team Name or Logo. All team names are subject to final approval by the event committee. This is a community-based, family-friendly event, so teams are encouraged to use sound judgement when selecting names and/or logos.
Team Details: Teams must have 10-12 rostered players. All teams must be co-ed. Each team must designate a Team Capitan. Team Captains will receive an email following registration to provide tee shirt sizes and their logo or team name information. Team Captains will receive all correspondence from the event committee, including bracket information, start time, and more. Final team rosters must be provided upon check in on the day of the tournament.
Additional Information: Participating teams are encouraged to invite friends and family to enjoy a day at the ball fields. The event will include games throughout the day. Food trucks and fun activities will be available throughout the day.
About the Host: This event is organized by Athens Sunrise Rotary. Athens Sunrise Rotary is a community-focused organization run by volunteers. While this event will be held at Alexander Local Schools, this event is hosted and organized by Athens Sunrise Rotary.
About the Cause: Athens Sunrise Rotary has selected the Alexander Inclusive Playground Project as the sole recipient for the proceeds of this event. Athens Sunrise Rotary will provide a cash match to funds raised by the event.
