ABOUT ABOUT

Athens Sunrise Rotary has done it again. They've planned the party of the year. And you're invited!

Grab your tickets for a New Year's Eve Masquerade and Dance Party. Enjoy dinner on your own and then join us at 9pm for dancing and beats by DJ A-Roc, photo booth shenanigans, light eats, cash bar, swag bags, and a champagne toast at midnight. All proceeds support the community service efforts of Athens Sunrise Rotary.

The Deets

When does this shindig start?

9pm at the OU Inn

Where can I stay?

The OU Inn is offering discounted rates for Masquerade guests. Ticket holders will receive a booking code in their confirmation email.

Who's bringing the tunes?

The one and only DJ A-Roc. BONUS -- he's bringing his full service photo booth and all the props you need to create a memorable keepsake shot.

What if I get hungry? Or thirsty?

While we encourage our guests to enjoy dinner before they arrive, we got you for those late night munchies. Admission includes delicious light eats and treats throught out the night. Non-alcoholic beverages are complimentary. There will be a cash bar for all your other bevvy needs.

What are we wearing?

Suggested attire is "Athens Fancy & Festive" and masquerade masks are definitely encouraged! In fact, our swag bags will include a fun mask in case you forget yours at home.

Who is planning this party, anyway?

Your evening is hosted by Athens Sunrise Rotary. Athens Sunrise Rotary was formed in 2016 by service-minded local leaders to offer an inclusive, flexible way for community members to come together and do good for the region. Athens Sunrise Rotary has impacted thousands of Appalachian youth and families through hands-on service projects, financial contributions, partnerships, and more. In 2023, ASR's projects included donating nearly $10,000 to local charity groups through our popular Drafts for a Difference program, supporting flexible seating at the Ohio Valley Museum of Discovery, donating hundreds of classroom supplies for local teachers, beautifying Athens through a garden bed clean up project, making blankets for foster youth, and raising money to eradicate polio, and co-hosting a Mental Health First Aid training for the community (just to name a few).

What else do I need to know?

We're serving drinks and we want the roads to stay safe, so please make a responsible plan for the evening. Pre-arrange a ride, take a cab, or better yet... spend the night at the Inn. A booking code for a discounted rate will come your way just as soon as you complete your ticket purchase.

All sales are final. No refunds. In the event that you are unable to attend, we will consider your ticket purchase a generous donation (Gee, thanks!).
